To create a Polaroid image transfer,
I don’t wait for the picture to fully
develop before pulling apart the 669
film. I place the negative, rich with
color, face down onto another
surface such as warm watercolor
paper, and press it with a roller. The
dyes from the negative are
absorbed by the paper. After a
couple of minutes I peel off the
negative. Once the surface has
dried it can be hand colored to
enhance the image.
